Down on the Farm…

After many years of owning horses, in 2011 we expanded to our first other animal with a “minature” donkey and 2 Angora goats. This was after both of us committing before our marriage that we would never own goats. The purchase was a misunderstanding and a funny story.

We sold those and a few years later, mainly due to allergies we started goats with the assistance of a great friend and mentor Ruth Caplon of Caplon Kidz with a Lamancha, Oberhasli, and Nigerian doelings. Wow has the farm exploded. We now have over 20 goats, over 70 poultry (chickens, guinea hens, ducks, geese, and a neighbor’s peacock), 2 horses, 3 minature horses, 2 donkeys, and rabbits!!!!
